In this article we present the central components of the doctoral thesis oriented to the study of the relations between body and politics in the teaching of sports in secondary schools of San Carlos de Bariloche and Dina Huapi. Next we share, within the framework of the beginning of the field work, the analysis of an observation and interview experience in a secondary school, which is significant for the purposes of the research problem. With this study we try to investigate the teaching knowledge in the aforementioned practices, based on the analysis of the processes of citizenship and the construction of collective identities in secondary schools. From the qualitative and ethnographic approach, we subscribe to a knowledge policy that establishes dialogues between teaching practice and academic research. All this, in order to contribute to the body of knowledge in the field of physical education and the formulation of more equitable and inclusive training proposals. As a first analysis of the aforementioned experience, we highlight a multiplicity of expressions and meanings related to the representations of citizenship and the construction of collective identities within the institution.
