Peer Review Process
The UCLAEH LAW JOURNAL is a journal aimed at original academic contributions and research articles. The review process is conducted anonymously for both authors and reviewers.
Submissions undergo external evaluation in a double-blind system before publication.
As a requirement for publication, a system of evaluation by external reviewers is established, consisting of distinguished jurists and/or specialists in their respective fields or disciplines, who may be national or international. Upon receiving the article, a reviewer will be assigned who is directly linked to the topic addressed by the author and their specialty. Once the evaluation is accepted by the designated reviewer, they will have a period of 30 days to assess the text. The reviewer’s report must specifically indicate whether the text meets the necessary quality and robustness requirements for publication in the LAW JOURNAL. If any comments are made by the reviewers, they may be communicated to the author for analysis, evaluation, and potential adjustments.
The evaluation result can be:
- publishable;
- requires author revision;
- requires author revision and re-evaluation;
- not publishable.
The entire evaluation process will be conducted confidentially. The review will be anonymous for both the reviewer and the author. Under no circumstances will the author be informed of who conducted their external evaluation. The list of reviewers will also remain anonymous.
Texts that have been expressly requested from the author in their capacity as a reference or specialist may be included in the publication without undergoing the external evaluation process. These cases will be exceptional.
The UCLAEH LAW JOURNAL reserves the right to accept or reject submissions based on thematic relevance and strict adherence to editorial guidelines.
