Abstract

Legal operators have always found themselves facing different struggles throughout history. This is how the fight for the law, the fight for justice, and also the dichotomy between the two has arisen. COUTURE was one of the few jurists capable of giving values to law. In this brief analysis of one of his commandments, we pay tribute to the great teacher who undoubtedly left a legacy for all lawyers. This analysis was presented at the University of the Republic in Uruguay, on September 27, 2022, within the framework of the current analysis and projection of COUTURE’s 10 commandments, together with all the law schools of the country. We would like to give special thanks to the honorable Luis Meliante Garcé, for inspiring critical thinking in his students.
