Abstract

An obstacle to approach non-verbal notions of nature is determined by the distance generated by its representations and symbolizations. A meaningful approach may result from considering nature only as the unimaginable and from accepting this radical uncertainty as a possible path to its necessary approximation. Some classical authors of cognitive science have been thinking about this irreducible distance, as well as the importance of stating this uncertainty, which could be approached, in the academic field, from both transdisciplinary and trans-epistemic perspectives. Likewise, it is also important to consider the use of poetic and creative language as valid to support this reflection.
