In order to adapt to the demands posed by the advance of technologies and the idea of an increasingly globalized world, educational reforms have multiplied, seeking to adapt to the new ways of learning of young students. The success of these reforms, however, has proven to be unsustainable. This article seeks to approach the school as a working organization challenged to innovate and adapt to current global threats, as well as to foster the participation and personal and professional development of teachers and students, thus supporting the generation of citizens capable of discerning the social priorities that characterize these first decades of the 21st century.
